What To Expect

Prior to your initial consultation with Dr Tabain you will be emailed the password protected functional analysis forms. These forms are very detailed and cover every aspect of wellbeing and health. These forms need to be sent back ideally a week before the initial consultation. Every bit of information is treated as strictly confidential.

It would be helpful if you can send a summary of your GP notes, a list of prescriptions and a copy of any recent investigations.

The first consultation lasts about 90 minutes and will be spent reviewing your history and discussing as a team what the possible root causes of your symptoms are, as well as how these can be investigated and managed further.

Given the medical background that Dr. Tabain has, patients found to have symptoms of acute illness or symptoms that require urgent cancer investigations will be directed back to their own GP.

You will then receive a full report about our consultation and possible root causes, as well as a ‘Functional Medicine Plan’ detailing the treatment plan which may include lifestyle, diet, supplementation and/or medication.

In many cases, further investigations would be advised and this can be arranged with a review appointment scheduled to discuss the results and to amend the treatment plan as needed.
